Phoenix, Ariz. – The 2008-09 Suns Dancers were announced on Suns.com Wednesday (Aug. 13) night, following the "Making of the Suns Dancers" special on KUTP My45.

For the first time ever, Suns fans were afforded the opportunity to cast their vote for the 2008-09 Suns Dancers from Tuesday, Aug. 5 through Tuesday, Aug. 12 on Suns.com. During the voting period, the website drew more than 370,000 page views, with fans viewing more than 90,000 videos.

Photos and a video profiling each of this year’s 32 finalists were available for fans, who were then able to select their favorite 16 members for the 2008-09 Suns Dancers. The public vote accounted for 25 percent of the final selection.
