Fans interested in presale access to playoff tickets can become a member of

PHOENIX – The Phoenix Suns are about to enter their most exciting chapter of the season, as they prepare for the 2008 NBA Playoffs. Suns fans can share in the excitement by purchasing playoff tickets, which go on sale Thursday, April 17 at 10 AM.

The close race for playoff positions in the Western Conference means that the Suns opponent and game schedule is undetermined at this time and may not be finalized until the last day of the regular season, Wednesday, April 16.

Tickets for the first two home games of the First Round can be purchased online at Suns.com, by phone at 1-800-4-NBA-TIX, at the US Airways Center box office and at all Ticketmaster locations. In an effort to allow as many Suns fans as possible the opportunity to purchase tickets to playoff games, the number of tickets that can be purchased per person will be limited to two.

Suns fans wishing to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the general public are encouraged to participate in "Access Planet Orange" by becoming a member of Downtown Live to receive presale notifications. Fans interested in becoming a member, which is free of charge, can register at Suns.com. Tickets go on sale for Downtown Live members beginning on Wednesday, April 16 at 2 PM.

The Suns capped season ticket sales this season in order to make approximately 1,000 tickets available on a per-game basis. Because of the limited number of seats, fans are urged to join Downtown Live or use Suns.com to have the best chance of securing tickets before they are sold out.

The First Round of the 2008 NBA Playoffs will begin the weekend of Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20. The actual NBA Playoff schedule will not be determined until the final games of the season are played.
