Phoenix Mercury to assist Salvation Army with Extreme Heat Emergency Plan
Mercury to collect water bottles for Valley homeless
WHAT: The Phoenix Mercury will collect water bottles on Wednesday, June 20 at US Airways Center prior to the game vs. the Washington Mystics to benefit the Salvation Army Extreme Heat Emergency Plan. Water bottles will be loaded into the Mercury/Suns Toyota Tundra in the US Airways Center Pavilion.
8 oz. – 20 oz. bottles of water will be accepted.

INFO: During the summer months, as the National Weather Service declares an Extreme Heat Warning, the Salvation Army, in conjunction with the City of Phoenix Police Department and the city of Phoenix Park Rangers, will be prepared to respond through the Extreme Heat Emergency Plan.
