With the 2007 NBA Playoffs right around the corner, the Phoenix Suns have launched a new text alerts program entitled “MySuns Mobile” to help fans stay connected with their favorite team, as it makes a run at an NBA Championship.

 Powered by Verizon Wireless, MySuns Mobile provides fans with breaking news alerts on their mobile phones or handheld devices, plus special offers and promotional messages.

To receive Suns news alerts on awards, injuries, trades, free-agent signings and more, fans are encouraged to text the keyword NEWS to short code 94872.

Fans who would like to receive Suns promotional alerts, including special offers on tickets and merchandise, and information on player appearances, fan events and sweepstakes, should text the keyword PROMO to short code 94872.

The Suns will also offer “Downtown Live” alerts, as part of the program. Fans who text the keyword DTLIVE to short code 94872 will receive exclusive ticket offers, including presales, discounts, VIP packs and more for all events at US Airways Center.

Fans may also sign-up for MySuns Mobile alerts online at Suns.com. There is no subscription fee to sign-up for Suns text alerts, although standard text message rates do apply.
